How much does a CCTV system cost?

Guide prices are listed above, starting from £XXX for a fully installed two-camera system. The final price depends on the number of cameras, how much cabling is needed and how much footage you want to keep. You get a fixed quote after a free survey, and nothing goes ahead until you approve it.

Can I view the cameras on my phone?

Yes. Live view, playback and motion alerts, on Android and iPhone. We set it up and show you how it works before we leave. There is no yearly subscription for viewing your own cameras.

How long does installation take?

Most domestic systems are done in a day. Larger or commercial installs depend on the cabling. We will tell you at survey stage.

Do you install CCTV for businesses as well as homes?

Both. We fit systems from two cameras up to two hundred, so small shops, yards, farms and offices are all straightforward. For commercial sites we can also look at access control and alarms at the same time.

Is there a warranty?

Every system we install carries a minimum two-year warranty. If something fails within that period, we come back and put it right.

Do I need to tell anyone I have CCTV?

If your cameras only cover your own property, you have no formal obligations. If they capture a pavement, a shared close or a neighbour's garden, UK data protection rules apply and you should display a sign. We will point this out at survey stage and position cameras to keep things simple.

Can you repair or upgrade a system someone else fitted?

Usually yes. We can often reuse existing cabling, replace failed cameras or swap an old recorder for something that works on your phone. Send us a photo of the recorder and we will tell you what is possible.

Which areas do you cover?

Ayrshire, Renfrewshire, Glasgow, Paisley and Dunbartonshire, including Irvine, Kilmarnock, Largs, Ayr, Johnstone, Clydebank and Dumbarton. For CCTV work we travel further than we would for a laptop repair, so ask even if you are outside that area.
